Aloha, Andy, I stumbled on your blog while searching for information on waterfalls and I was fascinated by the content. Now I'll have to wade through all of the archived material. That's the only drawback of a computer versus a book. Unless you have a laptop, which I don't, you can't curl up in bed and enjoy the experience. I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts and exploring the wealth of information you have shared with the world. I remember the letters you wrote to The Garden Island and the responses you evoked (In the interest of full disclosure, I work at TGI in the editorial department and have for 32 years.) Anyway, this is getting ridiculously long. Keep blogging and maybe I'll be able to take some direction from you and start a blog of my own. Have a lovely day!...Rita

Thanks for the encouragement. That's cool that you remember my TGI letters, even though I'm not one of the "regulars." As for blogging, I say go for it. It was from reading other people's blogs that I got the idea and felt I had something to say. Like many, I've slowed down now, but it's more from lack of time than lack of things to say.
